Tom Brown Park/Dog Area
Easterwood Drive off Capital Circle SW
Hours: Open dawn to dusk
Directions: Capital Circle SW, east on Connor Blvd., left onto
Easterwood Drive, first right, dog park is past the playground,
across the bridge and to the right.
Notes: Operated by the City of Tallahassee, this park offers two
fenced play areas (one for large dogs and one for small dogs).
Additional amenities: picnic area, benches, poop bags, playgrounds,
nature trails, shaded areas, parking, water, and trash receptacles.
San Luis Mission Park/Dog Area
1313 San Luis Road
Hours:
Open dawn to dusk.
Directions: San Luis Road off Tharpe
Street. From North Monroe Street; turn west onto Tharpe Sreet for
approximately 2.8 miles; left onto San Luis Road. The park will be
on the immediate left.
Notes: Operated by the City of Tallahassee, this park has a large
fenced area for dogs to play off-leash as well as plenty of other
areas to explore while on-leash.
These fenced dog parks
provide "off-leash" play areas for both large and small
breeds. For
rules and other information see signs posted at dog park locations
or call Tallahassee Parks and Recreation Department at (850)
891-3866. Note: All parks owned and maintained by the City of
Tallahassee allow leashed dogs only, with the
exception of the athletic fields, which are totally off limits to
pets.
